Come out of your shell, step into our keepers shoes and head behind the scenes into the terrapin habitat. Get up close with this impressive squad of tiny turtles - you’ll be surprised at how quick they can move. You’ll have a shell of a good time with the terrapins at the National Aquarium. Please note, we require all participants to wear closed toe shoes to ensure your personal safety in the habitat. You will be visible to the general public, sitting on a low seat; we suggest wearing comfortable, long pants or shorts over skirts and/or dresses.
