Mo had been Penguin of the Year finalist for three years but finally took top prize in 2021. He’s our naughtiest penguin (appearing on the list more than any other penguin) however has started to keep his behaviour a bit more under control, even being a great boyfriend to Betty. We can’t ignore his normal antics though - from throwing himself on the ground during feeding if a penguin bumps into him, hiding on weigh-in day, stealing fish, or even stealing fish and then spitting them out. Mo came to Penguin Cove after being abandoned as a chick.
